There's a quiet revolution happening in how businesses sell. It's not happening in boardrooms or on Salesforce dashboards. It's happening in Instagram DMs at 11pm, in WhatsApp voice notes sent between meetings, and in email threads that stretch across weeks and languages.

For millions of small and medium businesses — travel agencies, real estate agents, coaches, boutique e-commerce shops — conversations are the sales floor. And right now, that floor is a mess.

The problem we couldn't ignore

Picture this: a travel agency in Tirana gets a DM on Instagram asking about honeymoon packages. They reply. The customer sends an email two days later with their budget. Then a WhatsApp message with dates. And another DM asking about pricing.

That's one customer, four messages, three channels, and zero systems connecting them. The agent copies names into a spreadsheet, screenshots the DM, forwards the email, and hopes they don't forget.

Multiply that by fifty leads a week and something will slip. A high-intent buyer doesn't get a reply in time. A quote never gets sent. Revenue walks away silently.

We talked to dozens of business owners across Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia. The pattern was the same everywhere: talented people losing deals not because of skill, but because of chaos. Not the kind of chaos you fix with a better spreadsheet — the kind you fix with a fundamentally different tool.

What makes Unifico different from HubSpot, Salesforce, or Freshdesk? Those tools were built for teams with dedicated sales ops, pipelines starting from form fills, and customers who use email. That's not the world SMBs live in.

We're building for the business owner who replies to DMs from their phone at midnight. For the agent who juggles fifty conversations across three apps. For the coach who loses track of interested clients because there's no system at all.

The AI that actually helps

Every incoming message passes through our AI pipeline powered by Google Gemini. Not to generate canned replies — we're not here to make conversations feel robotic. Instead, the AI works behind the scenes:

  • Entity extraction: names, email addresses, phone numbers, budgets, dates — pulled from natural language in Albanian, English, Italian, or German.
  • Intent classification: is this person browsing, seriously comparing, or ready to buy?
  • Product matching: automatically links the conversation to the most relevant item in your catalog.
  • Sentiment analysis: flags frustrated or delighted customers so you can prioritize.
  • Smart tagging: classifies conversations by topic, urgency, and value.

All of this happens with every message. No configuration. No rules to set up. The AI just reads, understands, and structures — and you see the result as a clean lead card with every detail filled in.

The roadmap

We're building Unifico in public, and we're not afraid to share our timeline. Here's the honest plan:

Phase 1 — MVP
Core product, two channels
Instagram DM integration (webhook + adapter), email via IMAP polling, Gemini AI extraction, unified inbox with real-time updates, reply from dashboard, drag-and-drop kanban pipeline, lead detail view with cross-channel history, product catalog with AI-matching, basic analytics, and the onboarding flow. This is the version we ship to our first 10-20 users and learn the hard lessons.
Phase 2 — Expansion
WhatsApp, Facebook, team features
WhatsApp Business API integration, Facebook Messenger, team collaboration (assignments, internal notes), advanced automation workflows, and richer analytics. This is where Unifico becomes a team tool, not just a solo power-up.
Phase 3 — Scale
Mobile app, marketplace, API
Native mobile app for on-the-go replies, a marketplace for integrations (accounting, booking systems), public API for custom workflows, and enterprise features. The goal: become the operating system for conversation-driven commerce.

What we expect in the MVP

Let's be specific about what the first version includes — and what it doesn't.

In the MVP

  1. Email and Instagram integration
  2. AI extraction — name, email, interest, urgency, sentiment, product match from every incoming message.
  3. Unified inbox — single view of all conversations, real-time via WebSocket.
  4. Reply from dashboard — type a reply, it goes back to the original channel (Instagram or email).
  5. Kanban pipeline — drag cards, customize stages per business type, full stage history.
  6. Lead detail view — everything about a lead in one panel: contact info, extracted data, conversation history across channels.
  7. Product catalog — create products with keyword matching; AI links conversations to relevant products.
  8. Basic analytics — response time, conversion rates, channel breakdown.
  9. Onboarding flow — pick your business type (travel, real estate, coaching, e-commerce, custom), get seeded pipeline stages, products, and custom fields.

Not in the MVP (yet)

  • Advanced automation workflows

We're ruthless about scope because we've seen too many products try to launch with everything and ship nothing. The MVP is about proving one thing: when you unify the inbox and add smart AI, businesses close more deals.


Who this is for

Our initial market is Albanian SMBs — travel agencies, real estate agents, coaches, and e-commerce sellers. Then the Western Balkans. Then global. The product is built to scale internationally from day one with multilingual AI and a flexible business-type system.

But really, Unifico is for anyone who has ever:

  • Lost a lead because a DM got buried
  • Copied a phone number from Instagram into a spreadsheet
  • Wished they could see all conversations with one customer in one place
  • Wondered how many leads they actually converted last month
  • Tried Salesforce and thought "this isn't built for me"
